Our role is to plan, build and maintain Western Australia’s State Road Network valued at just over $46 billion. We work closely with our portfolio partners, Department of Transport and Public Transport Authority as well as local government to support the needs of all road users.

About the Role

Main Roads Supply and Transport Branch’s key role is to deliver Procurement and Light Vehicle Fleet business solutions that support achieving Main Roads’ outcomes to enhance productivity, sustainability, safety, and reliability.

The key role of the Senior Contracts Officer position is to provide contract administration and probity services for moderately complex procurement for goods, services, and consultancies to ensure the best outcome for Main Roads and the State while maintaining high standards of integrity, governance, probity, and accountability.

You will provide advice and assistance to stakeholders on procurement policy, standards, systems, and processes that is compliant with procurement policies and procedures. The role also contributes to the development, improvement and implementation of systems, policy and procedures relating to non-complex procurement functions.

About You

We are seeking candidates with experience in contract administration and procurement in line with organisation standards, processes, and procedures. You will need to have sound skill, knowledge, and experience in the use of an electronic contract administration system and your ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with stakeholders is critical in this role. Your sound research, analysis and problem-solving skills will also assist you to succeed in this role.
