This role requires a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is passionate about building high-quality software. We are looking for driven team member with technical depth and a desire to deliver end products for our clients.Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software components and frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal product and business development teams to understand and implement client development needs.
- Research and integrate new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and maintainability.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, and feedback-driven environment.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a backend developer or engineer within FinTech or Technology.
- Expert in leveraging C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) to solve complex problems.
- Strong understanding of Web Technologies, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Self-Starter with a strategic mindset to work independently while contributing to the team.
- The following preferences are a plus:
- Understanding of financial products, especially structured products.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Awareness of UI/UX best practices.
What We OfferThe base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and an annual performance bonus.
