Provides proactive account management, development of strong relationships for existing customers in assigned business segments, products and geographies. The individual will be assigned a specific book of business with primary responsibilities for maintaining the overall Aetna client and broker relationship to include supporting appropriate client retention and business growth objectives. - Develops and executes customer service strategy.
- Meets with customers and/or brokers frequently via phone, leads calls and meetings, and may meet with clients in person.
- Engages in frequent email correspondence, discusses services levels and expectations, shares process improvements, discusses operation of benefits plans, identifies gaps in service levels, determines root causes and develops solutions and leads resolution of issues, engages and monitors other Aetna departments to implement.
- Develop and maintain mutually favorable relationships with Aetna International clients (plan sponsors and producers) through superior account service.
- Partner with customers on their employee benefit strategies with regard to health and wellness programs.
- Balance strategic planning and tactical implementation.
- Develop, maintain and retain consultative client relationships, effectively positioning our value-added products and member services in accordance with business development objectives.
- Communicate and present information to audiences at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain proficient understanding of the international employee benefit business environment.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to resolve escalated issues around claims, premium billing, eligibility, and commissions
- Candidate will support client needs at times in multiple time zones.
- Responds to customers’ requests for network analysis, benefit plan design changes, benefit questions, and clarifications on billing, eligibility, and claims processes.
- Collaborates with account management team to achieve growth/renewal objectives.
- Effectively manage and negotiate renewals and provider benefit strategy as needed to retain clients.
- Assists in preparation of reports.
- Manages all plan administration activities, including installation, plan set-up, eligibility, billing and contract drafting by working proactively with support areas; signs-off on ID cards.
- Manages member communications strategies for each customer.
Required:
- 3-5 years industry or customer service experience preferably with complex accounts.
- 1-3 years health benefits industry, project management or customer service experience.
- Insurance license, as required by state law or Insurance license can be obtained within first 90 days of employment.
Preferred:
- Prior International Insurance experience.
- Underwriting experience.
Education:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40Time Type Full timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$46,988.00 – $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
