We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations. You will work closely with the finance team and senior management to provide timely and accurate financial information, and to support decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:– Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
– Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions.
– Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements.
– Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
– Assist with the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors.
– Mentor and train junior accounting staff to ensure their professional growth and development.
– Stay updated on industry developments and changes in accounting standards.Qualifications:– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– ACCA designation is preferable.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
– Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Expected salary: 25000 per month
