Job description: Responsibilities:
1.Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts to facilitate decision-making.
2.Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Provide financial projections and analysis. Ideally in QuickBooks and to move away from reporting in manual excel.
3.Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, etc. Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
4.Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, interpret data, and present findings to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
5.Cash Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity while minimizing risks.
6.Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. Establish and maintain internal controls.
7.Team Leadership: Supervise finance team, providing guidance and ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.
8.Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, offering financial insights to support overall business objectives.
9.Technology Integration: Stay updated on financial software and technology trends, leveraging tools for efficiency and accuracy.
10.Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and long-term plans.
11.Salary & Commission Preparation & Processing: Prepares and calculates salaries for the month. Also, prepares and calculate Agent’s commission reports.
12.Shipping Expenses Reconciliation: Compile a reconciliation of charged versus actually paid shipping expenses for each order on a monthly basis.
13.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
14.SKU Management: Oversee the accounting aspects of a continuous influx of new Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
15.Inventory Integration: Implement and manage accounting systems that are closely integrated with inventories across various locations, demonstrating a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
16.Strategic thinker: The ability to understand the business, join dots and to ensure that we are improving our process every step of the way.
17.CRM, ERP, 3PL Experience: have experience in managing and implementing new processes across different platforms.Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2.Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
3.Proven experience as an accountant, with a focus on financial management and reporting.
4.Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to financial analysis and decision-making.
5.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
6.Proficient in accounting software and financial management tools.
7.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet deadlines.
8.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance teams and other stakeholders.
