- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Plan, assign, and review staff’s work.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Liaise with clients to provide financial advice and support.
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
- Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Manage the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Industry experience in Accounting and Auditing Consultancy is mandatory.
- Indian male candidate preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
