Job description: As a Security System Operator, you will play a critical role in monitoring and responding to security alarms, surveillance systems, and other security equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate various security systems, including alarms, CCTV cameras, and access control systems.
- Alert appropriate personnel to any alarms or security breaches and follow established emergency procedures.
- Review and analyze security footage to identify suspicious activities or potential security threats.
- Conduct routine checks of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate records of security events and incidents, including date, time, and location.
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide clear and concise reports on security matters.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by assisting with access control, directions, and general inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in security operations, preferably in a large commercial or industrial setting.
- In-depth knowledge of security systems, protocols, and procedures.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
- Experience operating various computer software and programs is an asset.
Expected salary: 5700 – 6200 per month
