As a Science Teacher at GEMS Metropole, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging science lessons to students across relevant grade levels. You will contribute to an inspiring academic environment while promoting inquiry, scientific thinking, and a love for discovery among learners.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured and interactive Science lessons aligned with the British curriculum (GCSE/IGCSE/AS-levels)
- Differentiate instruction to cater to a range of student learning needs and abilities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and inquiry-driven classroom culture
- Assess student progress regularly using a variety of assessment tools
- Provide timely feedback and maintain academic records and reports
- Collaborate with subject leaders and colleagues on planning and innovation
- Integrate ICT tools and experiments to enrich learning experiences
- Participate actively in school initiatives, extracurricular programs, and community events
- Uphold all school policies including child safeguarding, health & safety, and academic standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a relevant subject, with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent teaching certification
- Proven teaching experience in a British or international school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Familiarity with modern pedagogical practices and digital teaching tools
- Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to student success
- Fluent English language proficiency
