POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides specialized technical knowledge in SAP HANA development, design, analysis and development of programs in SAP and Fiori platform. Good knowledge in developing custom SAP Fiori Applications using HTML5/UI5, JavaScript. Experience in SAP FIORI Launchpad Configurations, Customizations, Tiles, Catalogs and Groups, deployment of Apps in SAP Hana platform. Execute full software development life cycle implementation in SAP along with HANA migration knowledge. Understand existing ABAP programs and custom code migration along with their maintenance. Work closely with the other SAP team members to develop new SAP functionalities especially on HANA platform.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Performs senior professional level technology and communication services work, which may include supervisory responsibility, under general supervision from an administrative or technical superior. Work includes maintaining, supporting, and using the multiple and complex operating system components and subsystems used by the Data Operation Center or performing highly complex programming analysis and systems design.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expertise in SAPUI5, SAP FIORI/UX, SAP UI5 MVC Framework, OData, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Mobility, ABAP S/4 HANA, ABAP CDS Views, ODATA and SAP Net.
- Custom SAP UI5 Apps by using Custom Views, Controllers, JSON Model, ODATA model, Components, navigation and routing concepts using SAP Web IDE and SAP Web IDE Full-Stack Tools.
- Develop custom SAP Fiori Applications using HTML5/UI5, JavaScript.
- Work in SAP FIORI Launchpad Configurations, Customizations, Tiles, Catalogs and Groups, deployment of Apps in SAP Hana cloud platform.
- Configure the standard Fiori Application and enhancing the Fiori Apps according to business requirement.
- Work with S4/HANA migration initiatives including custom code migration along with exposure to SAP OCM/SOM modules.
- Working knowledge of CDS views, ABAP on HANA, OData services.
- Work in reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, exits, enhancements, and workflow.
- Work with EDI, ALE IDOCS, BADI, BAPI, OOPS. Along with good understanding of various SAP modules.
- Work with performance improvement related with data flow between backend and front-end.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage the impact of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration on analytics reporting for various SAP modules.
- Design, develop, and test ETL solutions, including modeling data warehouse, metadata and automating data loading processes.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Advanced programming knowledge in SAP ABAP and experience in the successful design, delivery of SAP applications.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills Support experience in SAP is highly desired.
- Four or more years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP with Fiori/UI5 implementations across various SAP S4, ECC, R/3 and other modules.
- Expertise in SAPUI5, SAP FIORI/UX, SAP UI5 MVC Framework, OData, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, XML, Mobility, ABAP S/4 HANA, ABAP CDS Views, ODATA and SAP Net Weaver Gateway Service Builder.
