We are in search of a dedicated individual with extensive experience and expertise in leading the entire SAP S/4HANA ABAP development process. In this role, you will play a vital role in optimizing and streamlining our operations, working closely with various teams such as sales, finance, supply chain, and IT. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth ABAP development, precise coding, and prompt delivery of high-quality solutions. We are looking for a leader who possesses strong problem-solving skills and in-depth expertise in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development, including CDS and clean core SAP development skills. If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Lead the SAP S/4HANA ABAP development team in designing and implementing ABAP solutions for our organizationCollaborate with functional consultants and business collaborators to gather and detail business requirementsDesign and develop ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using clean core SAP development techniquesImplement CDS (Core Data Services) for data modeling and development of SAP S/4HANA applications.Responsible for managing development focusing on architecture design, coding, unit testing of product features in a development team. Research and propose the solution within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues.Deep knowledge and experiences of DB architectural behaviors and performance optimization.Understanding and experiences of OLAP and the calculation design of multi-dimensional model.Conduct code reviews to maintain consistency in coding standards, improve performance, and ensure adherence to established guidelines.Provide technical guidance and support to the development teamCollaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of ABAP solutions with other SAP modules and external systemsIdentify and resolve issues related to ABAP development.Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP S/4HANA ABAP development tools and techniquesMentor and train junior developers in ABAP and SAP S/4HANA developmentQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP developmentMinimum of 4 years experience in at least one of the following: SAC Dashboarding or Reporting, SAC Planning, HANA Cloud OR native HANA Modelling, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA Analytics OR CDS, Datasphere.Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ABAP development methodologies and best practicesExpertise in CDS (Core Data Services) for data modeling and developmentProficiency in clean core SAP development techniques, including modularization, performance optimization, and error handlingExperience in developing ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and formsProficient understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and business processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead a team and work cross-functionally with other teamsSAP S/4HANA ABAP certification is preferredExcellent coding skills in Javascript languageExcellent experience with DBMS, SQL, and SAP SystemsCengage Group does not discriminate based upon race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, marital status, parental status, cultural background, organizational level, work styles, tenure and life experiences. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.$117,100.00 – $152,000.00 USD
