Job description: Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an SAP Basis System Administrator. Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Basis System Administrator will install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP systems (ABAP and Java stacks)
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP servers and databases
- Manage SAP transports, client copies, system refreshes, and landscape migrations
- Administer SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations
- Plan and execute SAP kernel upgrades, support packages, and enhancement packs
- Monitor system logs, jobs, and backups to ensure high availability and performance
- As an SAP Basis System Administrator, you will work closely with infrastructure, database, and application teams to support system integrations and ensure SAP systems stability
- Support SAP HANA and traditional databases (Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) as required
- Ensure compliance with security standards, system documentation, and change management processes
- Participate in planning and execution of disaster recovery and high-availability strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience
- Experience with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database platforms (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and components
- Familiarity with SAP tools like SAP Solution Manager, TMS, and SAP Router
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
