The Sales Engineer plays a key role in market penetration, revenue generation, and maintaining customer satisfaction through tailored engineering support and commercial offerings.What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Generate and follow up on B2B sales inquiries for HVAC systems including VRF, Ducted Splits, and Chillers
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for revenue and gross margin
- Conduct technical design reviews and estimations for customer proposals
- Prepare and negotiate offers; follow up on credit approvals and collections
- Build a strong client base including MEP contractors, consultants, and dealers
- Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and technical trends
- Maintain accurate records for project pipelines, quotations, and client interactions
- Represent the brand at industry events and client meetings with professionalism
- Collaborate with the Projects team and other departments to support delivery and client onboarding
What Skills Are Needed for a Sales Engineer – HVAC Equipment in Dubai?Education
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in HVAC sales within the UAE, particularly Dubai and Sharjah
- Solid background in project-based selling of LG or similar HVAC systems
- Familiarity with software tools for HVAC design and equipment selection is a plus
Skills
- Strong B2B negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of HVAC system design, specifications, and site requirements
- Technical understanding of VRF, AHU, FCU, Chillers, and control systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage
- Valid UAE driver’s license
