- Visiting potential clients.
- Searching for new customers in a designated region.
- Establishing new and maintaining existing customers.
- Building relationships with new and existing customers.
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
- Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
- Advising customers on how best to use the products or services provided.
- Selling and consulting on technologically advanced products.
- Using technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers the usefulness of the product or service and how it may suit the customer better than competing products.
- Making technical presentations.
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing to terms and conditions with consent from the HOD.
- Offering after-sales support in terms of communication and escalation, if required.
- Recording and maintaining client contact data in the CRM.
- Recording and maintaining the inquiry register.
- Recording and maintaining competitor & market information.
- Liaising with other members of the sales & service teams for any issues.
- Solving or escalating to resolve the client’s operational or service issues.
- Updating customers about the latest developments in the products and industry.
- Meeting regular sales targets.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 – 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in Material Handling Equipment or Heavy Equipment.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Interviews for locally available candidates must be done face-to-face.
- Male candidates are required for this role.
- Must have UAE Driving License.
