- Job Type: 1099 Contract
- Compensation: $53 – $55/hour (paid weekly)
- Per Diem: $125
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10-hour days, with occasional weekend work as needed
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of this high-profile data center project in New Albany, OH. Key duties include:
- Conducting regular safety inspections and delivering orientations for employees and contractors.
- Providing targeted safety training, particularly for electrical construction processes.
- Monitoring worksite activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Reviewing and managing safety-related documentation, including reports and correspondence.
- Performing additional Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) tasks based on skills and certifications.
QualificationsTo excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- At least 8 years of progressive safety management experience, with a focus on electrical construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading safety teams and initiatives on large-scale construction sites.
- BCSP Certification (CSP, ASP, GSP, or similar) is highly required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
