The appointed researcher will be involved in advanced research areas such as secure quantum-classical systems, quantum circuit design, and quantum machine learning security. The position also provides hands-on exposure to quantum development environments such as QiSKit and PennyLane, as well as access to actual quantum hardware via collaborative partnerships. The successful candidate is expected to drive innovation, collaborate across disciplines, and strengthen ties among multiple research areas at CCS.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in areas including but not limited to:
- Quantum machine learning (QML)
- Security of quantum circuits
- Privacy-preserving and robust quantum computing
- Quantum error correction and optimization
- Develop tools and frameworks for secure quantum algorithm deployment
- Contribute to software development for quantum machines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers across engineering, computer science, and quantum physics
- Publish in high-impact journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to proposal development
Job Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Quantum Physics
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design, QML, or quantum security
- Experience with quantum programming platforms such as QiSKit or PennyLane
- Strong interdisciplinary research orientation and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated publication record in relevant fields
