The successful candidate will provide dedicated research and administrative support across the following four “kitchens”:
- Heritage, Memory, and Mobility
- The Anthropocene: Urbanism, the Environment, and Sustainability
- Human Rights In and For the 21st Century
- Writing, Languages, and Pedagogy
This three-year opportunity will involve a combination of research support, event organization, proposal writing, artistic facilitation, and cross-disciplinary engagement with faculty, students, and external partners.Key Responsibilities
- Support research design, planning, and implementation for ongoing and new interdisciplinary projects
- Assist in drafting reports, manuscripts, grant applications, and outreach materials
- Coordinate programming, including seminars, working groups, and collaborative workshops
- Help document and disseminate research outputs, both scholarly and artistic
- Liaise with funding bodies, creative institutions, and research partners
- Contribute to content creation and proposal development for the Research Kitchens initiative
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Master of Arts in a relevant field (Humanities, Arts, or Social Sciences)
- Familiarity with research in arts and humanities and interdisciplinary academic methods
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and collaboration abilities
- Experience or interest in creative research, artistic methods, or cultural programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous participation in academic or artistic research projects
- Background in arts-based inquiry or community-engaged research
- Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or public humanities initiatives
