We are currently seeking skilled nurses to join our team in POD 4! Specialties including Obstetric & Gynaecology, Urology, Melanoma, Paediatrics, Robotic Surgery, 24-hour Emergency O&G Theatres and Patient Reception & Admissions.

About the role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
As POD 4 has a high turnover of cases and emergency cases, we are looking for nurses who can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to manage changing situations in a calm and professional manner.
This role is full time on a 7 day rotating roster, including night and weekend shifts with daily on call.

About working for SLHD
This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy .
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course (2 doses) of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine (except for the Janssen COVID-19 vaccine which is approved by the TGA as a single dose primary course). Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
