Job description: We are seeking ICU Registered Nurses to join our team at North Shore Private Hospital!
About the Role
North Shore Private Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is one of the busiest private ICUs in Australia. The ICU provides care for a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. The 19 bed ICU provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies.
As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided.
We are offering the right candidates’ permanent full-time positions.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Critical Care environment
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment and autonomously as required
- Advanced communication and customer service skills
- Prior experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (desirable)
- ILS/ALS/ CALS certification (desirable)
- Post graduate certificate or similar in critical care (desirable)
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 – $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 – $95,500.08]

About Our Hospital
North Shore Private Hospital (NSPH) is a 312-bed surgical, medical and maternity facility located on Sydney’s lower North Shore. The hospital’s specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery. Comprehensive diagnostic facilities and medical consulting suites are also on site.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
