Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing and executing EHS strategies and solutions to support a variety of work styles across various workplace settings.Collaborating cross-functionally to provide EHS expertise to business-critical programs, projects and initiatives.Ensuring Marvell meets all EHS regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices both proactively and through an audit program under your management.Supporting and promoting implementation of Marvell’s global EHS policies and programs across the region, and augmenting them with country, regional and local policies and procedures where needed for:Injury and Illness PreventionEmergency Preparedness and ResponseFire PreventionErgonomicsLaboratory SafetyChemical Hazard CommunicationRegulated Waste ManagementSupporting Marvell’s operational sustainability initiatives related to Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, energy, and waste reduction, which includes ongoing tracking, collection and compilation of environmental data collection for sites within region.Supporting the implementation of the corporate EHS Management System (EHSMS) within the region.Monitoring and regularly reporting on regional EHS performance against EHS Key Performance Indicators, goals and objectives.Developing and delivering customized EHS training to enhance employee awareness and adherence to EHS requirements (beyond existing computer-based EHS trainings).Establishing and maintaining relationships with relevant regulatory bodies and local authorities.Managing local resources, such as external EHS consultants and specialists, as appropriate.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a well-rounded, passionate Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS) professional who will excel in a new role heading EHS for Marvell’s sites in the North America Region, based in Santa Clara, California. This position will provide EHS expertise and support to a large team of professionals, including our country, regional and site leaders and business partners, with responsibilities for EHS legal compliance and sustainability across Marvell’s regional offices. The role reports to our Global Director of EHS, based in Santa Clara, and will have a strong matrixed relationship with colleagues within the region. Qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety). Master’s degree a plus.Certification in Health and Safety (e.g., ASP, CSP) desired.8-10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in high-tech industries.Strong knowledge of applicable country, regional and local EHS regulations and standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and address risks proactively and effectively, with a sense of urgency.Ability to travel to sites within the region (25%).Management systems experience (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) a plus.Expected Base Pay Range (USD) 99,950 – 149,700, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
