Job description: Our client, a contracting & manufacturing company is seeking to hire a Quantity Surveyor for their office based in Fujairah.

Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in the Aluminum & Glazing / Façade industry plays a pivotal role in securing and executing Façade Projects in a successful and Viable manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits, interact with consultants, clients, and main contractors to gather pertinent project data
- Evaluate and analyze site conditions to facilitate accurate project assessments.
- Examine architectural drawings and specifications for a comprehensive quantity take-off aligned with the project scope.
- Utilize architectural plans, elevations, sections, and schedules to determine precise quantities (quantity take-off).
- Seek clarifications from stakeholders if specifications deviate from norms or standards.
- Initiate market inquiries for quotations to estimate project costs.
- Evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs based on contract drawings, specifications, and industry expertise.
- Develop detailed BOQs based on obtained quantity take-offs and required specifications.
- Prepare quotations and submit them for managerial approval and signoff before submission.
- Engage in price negotiation with clients/main contractors.
- Coordination with the design team during the shop drawing preparation phase.
- Coordination with Procurement Department and working closely with the procurement department during material procurement.
- Prepare variations as per information from Site Engineers or based on site instructions or on any revisions in the drawings.
- Generate monthly progress claims reflecting site progress.
- Fabrication Drawings and Estimation: Use ORGADATA (LOGIKAL) for creating fabrication drawings and estimations.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 8-10 years GCC experience in the Aluminum and Glazing/Facade industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with various Aluminum Systems (e.g., Alumil, Gutman, Alu-K, Technical, Gulf Extrusion etc).
- Proficiency in Computers and AutoCAD / other equivalent and estimation software like ORGADATA (Logical) is essential.
- Knowledge of FIDIC and BS codes / UAE standards will be preferred.
Salary: Up to AED 8000
Working hours/Days: 8am – 5pm/ 6 days a week
