Duration: March 2025 – March 2026Job Overview The QHSE Advisor will provide expert knowledge and guidance on safety practices, legal regulations, and hazard management for both onshore and offshore activities. The role requires flexibility due to variations in work patterns.Work Schedule & Travel:
- Hours Per Day: 10 (Monday through Friday)
- Hours Per Week: 50
- Work Week Norm: 5 days (can extend during preassembly/loadout and offshore installation)
- Expected Travel Days Per Month: 10
- Travel Requirements: Yes Key Responsibilities: QHSE Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain expert knowledge on best practices and legal requirements.
- Ensure QHSE conformity through agreed processes and legal registers.
- Promote risk management through proactive reporting and high-quality data collection.
- Support and enhance the management system and associated QHSE documentation.
Training & Safety Leadership:
- Lead by example to promote a strong QHSE culture using data, awareness, and knowledge-sharing.
- Conduct safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, Safety Walks, and HAZID/HAZOP workshops.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing lessons learned and best practices.
Audits, Compliance & Documentation:
- Support ongoing development and implementation of safety instructions, procedures, and contingency plans.
- Conduct audits, compliance checks, and performance monitoring (ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001).
- Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) for accuracy and compliance. Incident & Performance Monitoring
- Use incident reporting tool (Synergi) for reporting, trend analysis, and risk assessment.
- Conduct and report safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and lessons learned.
General Support:
- Provide ad-hoc support as required by the project.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external QHSE stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications Essential:
- Language: English proficiency required.
- Education: Relevant academic or technical background.
Experience:o 3-5 years of QHSE experience, ideally within relevant industries.
o Experience working with third-party contractors on QHSE matters.Technical Skills:o IT literate (Microsoft Office; Synergi knowledge is a plus).
o Strong communication and presentation skills.Certifications:o Compliance with Global Wind Organization (GWO)Standard Basic Safety Training and training/medical requirements.o Basic GWO + Medical
o Helicopter escape, hoist, and/or GUS trainingDesirable:
- QHSE Degree Qualification (Diploma or BS level).
- NEBOSH, ASP/CSP certification, or similar recognized QHSE qualification.
- Certified Auditor credentials.
- Experience in delivering QHSE training courses and materials. Equipment & Additional Requirements:
- Mobile Device: Consultant must provide an iPhone 6 (or newer) or a Windows Phone 8.1 to install mandatory AirWatch security app.
Work Flexibility & Offshore Considerations
- The role includes both onshore and offshore activities.
- Work patterns may vary based on project needs (preassembly/loadout and offshore installation may extend the workweek).
- Project-related commute within the scope of work is covered.
- Travel patterns and destinations to be coordinated with Work Manager(s) and Line Manager.
