Job description: Job responsibilities:

- Responsible for daily and scheduled inspections at site in accordance with Inspection and Test plan for assigned project.
- Preparation of inspection and test plan of respective project and relevant QC project documentation.
- Responsible for sending inspection requests to class and clients, preparing inspection reports and submission. • Identification of non-conformances and observations at site and submission to departments.
- Responsible to carry out inspections and tests in accordance with defined standard and codes.
- Inspection of raw materials, review of the quality of all materials as the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for material procurement and quality materials.
- To assist the site team to identify the root cause of non-conformities raised and site observations.
- Working closely with project team and other departments to have team building and job coordination.
- Attending the project meetings at office and site as required.
- To involve in welding procedure qualifications, welder performance qualifications and certificate preparation.
- Responsible to close out non-conformities raised and documentation.
- Review of NDT results.
- Liase with class surveyors for inspections.
- Liase with client representatives for inspections.
- To assist in ISO auditing and preparation of documents.
- To follow the company HSE policies and procedures at all times.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by QC Manager. • Report to Quality Control Manager.
Job requirements
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years of proven work experience as Quality Control Engineer or similar role in related industry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail
- In-depth understanding of site drawings, welding schedules and welding procedures.
- Familiar with applicable standards and codes (AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2, ASME Sec V, and class rules)
- Time-management and maintenance of documents
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge in MS Office, MS project and ERP.
- Welding certificates such as AWS – CWI, CSWIP 3.1 is desirable.
- NDT level II certificates is desirable.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems is added advantage.
- Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from recognized institute.
- Age: 25 years or above
Salary AED 8000-9000 + Standard benefits as per UAE law
Expected salary: 8000 – 9000 per month
