We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager with a strong background in white cement to lead the quality assurance and quality control functions within our cement manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, a proven leadership background, and the ability to maintain the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet strict quality guidelines, and you will work closely with the production team to guarantee that any sub-standard products are identified and addressed immediately.Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA/QC department to ensure all white cement products meet internal and industry quality standards.
- Establish and enforce quality procedures, working collaboratively with production and other departments.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and tests on cement production processes and final products.
- Proactively identify and resolve any quality issues, and confidently push back on production if standards are not met.
- Analyze quality control data and provide feedback to the production team to enhance overall performance.
- Mentor and manage the QA/QC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management, including recommendations for product and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and international quality standards.
Job Requirements:
- White Cement Background: Previous experience working within the white cement sector in the UAE/GCC is a must.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in quality control/assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Open to Assistant Manager profiles with strong leadership potential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, and collaborate with other departments, especially production.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and across departments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve quality-related issues and make decisive calls when necessary.
- Decision-Making: Ability to push back on production when product quality is not up to standard.
