Job description: About the Role:
The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible ensuring quality standards are met through all phases of construction. Candidates must have a valid NC Master Electrician License.

Sturgeon Electric has experience performing projects under Integrated Lean Project Delivery methods, and also offers pre-construction services, in-house pre-fabrication capabilities, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and complete project construction quality review checklists and required documentation
- Submit quality reporting to management
- Work with district management to address and improve quality practices throughout the duration of the project
- Develop detailed Method of Procedure (MOP) statements
- Track installation details
- Communicate with FA vendor, sub-contractors and owner representatives
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
- Other duties as assigned
About You:
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical utilities or construction industry
- Prior experience working in a quality assurance or control position – preferred
- Prior experience with converting systems in existing facilities
- Prior experience with MOP statements
- Must have a valid NC Master Electrician License
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Good knowledge of local electrical codes
- Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other relevant documents
- Knowledgeable of electrical materials and methods of installation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Self-driven with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time while working independently

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $56,000-$80,000 / year
- Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
