Job description: Responsibilities:
1.Quality Inspection & Verification: Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming furniture and accessories from international and local suppliers. Ensure products meet company standards in terms of design, material, durability, and finish. Identify, document, and report defective or damaged products and liaise with suppliers for replacements or corrections.
2.Testing & Compliance: Perform functional tests on furniture, including durability, stability, and usability. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and UAE market requirements.
3.Defect Management & Reporting: Maintain detailed reports of defective and damaged goods and ensure corrective actions are taken. Communicate quality issues to the Warehouse Manager and coordinate with the buying team, Warehouse Team & Joinery Team Ensure defective products are either repaired, replaced, or disposed of as per company policy.
4.Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse team to streamline quality control processes. Ensure proper storage and handling of products to avoid transit damage. Assist in training warehouse staff on quality standards and best practices.
5.Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to the quality control process to minimize defects and returns. Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product quality and packaging standards.Qualifications
1.Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
2.Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in furniture retail or warehouse operations.
3.Strong knowledge of furniture materials, finishes, and industry quality standards.
4.Experience in handling quality checks for imported furniture and accessories.
5.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse management systems.Min Experience:3 YearsSalary :AED 15000Temp/Perm::PermanentLocation :DubaiPosted Date:April 30, 2025
