Job description: Job Description:Apt Resources is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our team, specializing in the Supermarket sector within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products that meet the demands of our supermarket clients while maintaining competitive pricing and inventory levels.Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for supermarket clients, ensuring efficient sourcing of FMCG products
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and new product opportunities
- Coordinate and track orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to optimize stock availability
- Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and documentation for internal stakeholders
- Assist in developing strategic purchasing plans to enhance the overall procurement process
- Stay informed about industry changes and best practices to improve purchasing efficiencies
Requirements:Requirements
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer in the FMCG sector, preferably within supermarkets
- Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of supplier relations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software – SAP is essential
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the FMCG industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles
Benefits:Salary range is AED 8500 to 9500 and other benefits as per UAE labour laws.
Expected salary: 8500 – 9500 per month
