Position Overview
This position is to support the Director of the Research Centre for Deep History in the School of History at the Australian National University. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, and willing to undertake a diverse array of tasks. This will involve liaising with a variety of stakeholders, assisting in event organisation, preparing correspondence, reports and news for websites, co-ordination, some research tasks and other duties as required. An interest in history and/or Aboriginal studies will be an advantage.
We are looking for an energetic, self-directed applicant with good organisational abilities and people skills.
The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU. The College, which is structured into two main research schools, offers degrees in more than 20 discipline areas and excels in research across the creative arts, humanities and social sciences. The College has a substantial international research presence and is a major source of national policy advice.
