This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

We currently have one 12 month fixed term position available to fill.

Position Profile: The Department of Health are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team within the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia.

As a Project Officer, you will provide advice and support in relation to the training and accreditation of junior doctor positions provided by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Western Australia. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and evaluating strategies for improving postgraduate medical education and training, in accordance with the PMCWA Strategic Plan, particularly in the development of technology solutions.

Reporting to the Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain the business information systems to support the operations and strategic information needs of the Council.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of PMCWA website making recommendations to improve user experiences and maintain online site relevance and currency.
  • Design, develop and coordinate the maintenance of relevant databases and monitor the progression of the PMCWA projects.
  • Provide support for database and application system development projects.
