Job description: Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Planning & Strategy:
a.Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, and risks.
b.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
c.Work with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, and product development) to define technical requirements and specifications for XR solutions.
d.Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
2.Execution & Delivery:
a.Lead project teams through the design, development, and implementation phases of XR projects.
b.Ensure proper resource allocation and management across all departments involved in the project.
c.Ensure that all XR deliverables (e.g., applications, simulations, and experiences) meet client requirements and expectations.
d.Monitor progress, track deliverables, and adjust timelines and resources as needed to meet project goals.
3.Communication & Collaboration:
a.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
b.Lead regular project status meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
c.Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless project execution.
d.Manage client expectations, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
4.Risk Management & Quality Assurance:
a.Identify potential project risks and proactively address them to minimize delays or budget overruns.
b.Ensure that the project’s quality standards are adhered to throughout the development cycle.
c.Conduct post-project evaluations to analyze results, identify successes, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
5.Budget & Resource Management:
a.Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
b.Track and report on financials, including cost estimates, expenditures, and potential variances.
c.Ensure efficient resource usage, balancing project requirements with available capabilities.Qualifications & Skills:
1.5+ prove years of experience managing XR projects (VR, AR, MR) in a technical or product management role.
2.Proven track record in successfully delivering complex immersive technology projects on time and within budget.
3.Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
4.Familiarity with the technical aspects of XR development, such as 3D modeling, Unity, Unreal Engine, or other immersive technologies is a plus.
5.Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
6.Strong project management skills with a focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies.
7.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
8.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
9.Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to handle complex tasks and issues.
10. A deep passion for XR technology and its potential to transform industries and experiences.
11. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
12. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks effectively.
