About the Role:
You will be joining the team as a Project Manager, where your initial focus will be around the deliver of a package of works within the Tertiary Education sector.
Within this role, you will be working closely with the client’s in-house development team and with fellow teammates from your company, taking these projects through design and delivery.
Following this, there are more projects within this sector that you can continue with, but you will also be offered the opportunity to branch out into other sectors within the business, this company have excellent policies around shaping the role around you and where you want to take your career.

Some specific responsibilities may include:

  • Developing project plans and timelines, including project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Managing project teams and coordinating the efforts of team members to ensure that the project is completed on schedule.
  • Communicating with the client to understand their needs and objectives, and to ensure that the project is meeting their expectations.
  • Managing project budgets and financials, including tracking project costs and managing project finances.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, and developing and implementing risk management plans.
  • Managing project change requests and ensuring that changes are implemented in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinating and managing project testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Leading project closeout activities, including finalizing project deliverables, conducting project evaluations, and documenting project results.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to project team members, and ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their tasks.
  • Continuously monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that the project is on track to meet its objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in either, Construction/Project Management, Engineering or Architecture.
  • 3 or more years’ experience within project management within either a consultancy or contractor.
  • Ideally you will have gained experience with either the Health or Education sectors.
  • Strong experience working closely with and developing relationship with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience taking projects through the complete project lifecycle would be ideal, however strong experience within the delivery stages is essential.

Expected salary: $120000 – 150000 per year
