Job description: Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of academic conferences and university-wide events, coordinating with academic departments and internal stakeholders to define scope, goals, and timelines.Develop and manage detailed project plans, track tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of all project components.Coordinate logistical aspects such as space bookings, catering, facilities setup, safety protocols, permits, and event branding in collaboration with internal units.Oversee production logistics, speaker and delegate coordination, vendor management, and on-site event operations.Manage communications, event website content, and promotional materials in collaboration with External Relations.Administer financial aspects including budget maintenance, purchase requisitions, and invoice processing.Ensure alignment of events with university values of cultural awareness, inclusion, and sustainability.Prepare post-event reports and evaluations to support future planning and continuous improvement.Required SkillsBachelor’s degree in project management, Hospitality, Events, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years in project or event management, preferably within an academic or institutional environment.Strong understanding of academic event operations and stakeholder engagementExpertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projectsAdvanced organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesFamiliarity with project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com)Ability to perform under pressure in live event contexts
Expected salary: 18000 – 20000 per month
