Your Opportunity
Be the driving force behind closing technology gaps and fortifying Business Continuity Plans. Implement cutting-edge solutions aligned with IT best practices and current systems. Collaborate with dynamic teams, including vendors and SMEs, to optimise technology for maximum impact. Your role is pivotal in ensuring technology aligns seamlessly with business needs while exploring innovative alternatives to meet financial and logistical constraints. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Apply Mission Australia methodologies and frameworks judiciously to ensure orderly and controlled projects
- Lead multiple activities with cross-organisational teams, driving successful completion in accordance with time, cost and quality parameters
- Provide regular status reports to relevant governance forums (Executive Committee, Steering Committee, Portfolio Governance Forums, Project Working Groups)
- Ensure that stakeholders are engaged and their input captured and considered
- Analyse input from a number of collaborators including SMEs, IT, other MA stakeholders as required and external vendors
- Clearly identify where out of the box functions proposed by vendors may be applied
- Understanding the key expectations and concerns of each of the stakeholders groups, and conducting activities to ensure expectations are managed and communicated
- Develop a set of solution selection criteria against which to assess potential solutions
- Coordinate the development of a solution road map and shaping of future IT Projects through business case development
Requirements for Success
- At least 5 years project management working across Technology projects
- Relevant tertiary qualification in an IT or business-related discipline
- Strong relationship management with the ability to build sustainable genuine stakeholder relationships
- Results oriented with ability to deliver results in a controlled and effective manner while consistently applying Mission Australia’s values
- Previous experience with technology Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery would be highly desirable
- Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
