The purpose of this role is to execute the construction of 132kV Substation project Civil works in coordination with Client & Consultant & construction team and ensure the completion.Job Requirements:
5-10 Years experience in Construction of Sub Station projects preferably DEWA 132kV substation projects.Educational Qualifications
Degree of Civil Engineering (B.E / B. Tech) with DEWA approval is required.Job Responsibilities:
- Executes site activities including levelling, surveying, site mobilization & site construction works.
- checking plans, drawings and quantities and capable to take BOQ and ensure the accuracy of calculations.
- Performs day to day site works and ensuring availability of manpower, materials,
- Ensuring safety & quality at workplaces.
- Informs workers on methodology of execution, provides task lists to workers and ensures the works are performed as per ITP.
- Liaises with all agencies at the construction site to ensure smooth execution.
- Ensures that all materials are ordered & delivered is as per specifications.
- Ensure the materials are available at the right time to avoid delay in site works.
- Ensuring the planned progress is achieved with respect to project program.
- Control & Monitoring of project progress against plan. In case of any delay, it shall be recovered through recovery plan.
- Executes work activities as per the approved MOS & in proper sequence as per ITP.
- Ensuring preparation of daily progress, weekly progress, production constraints, materials, workforce availability and other issues for management review.
- Resolves the site issues on site that may arise and escalates, as necessary.
- Control & Monitoring of Work force, suppliers & sub-contractors.
- Ensuring the desired output is delivered with available resources.
- Submission & obtaining approvals for material samples from DEWA.
- Conducting meeting with suppliers & sub-contractors to meet the planned targets.
- Preparation & submission of daily, weekly reports to Consultant & Client.
- Submission of Weekly & Monthly witness schedule to DEWA.
- Coordinate with all agencies on time to avoid any delays in the project execution.
Salary: AED 8000-10500 (all in) + Standard benefits as per UAE law
Expected salary: 8000 – 10500 per month
