  • Provide initial program training to all new hires at Bar None Residential Services.
  • Work collaboratively with unit supervisors to coach and train residential counselors into their positions for optimal performance and service delivery.
  • Partner with other administrative team members to develop, lead, and maintain a healthy, supportive, and inclusive working culture; model “R.E.A.L. Positive Work Culture”
  • Provide leadership and support staff development and growth in team meetings and on the units.
  • Ensure milieu staff learn and implement trauma-informed care to offer a therapeutic and safe living environment.
  • Ensure milieu staff are learning all assigned tasks of their role prior to completion of orientation.
  • Work with Leadership and Development Coordinator to obtain and offer trainings relevant to programming and based on current research and best practices.
  • When necessary, provide milieu support which may include crisis intervention, utilization of Handle with Care techniques, and/or working on the milieu.
  • Educate and support residential counselors and the understanding of program philosophy and expectations.
  • Maintain training records for all Bar None employees and ensure they meet training requirements for their roles per licensure, CARF Accreditation, and program policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other administrative team members to plan and facilitate weekly team trainings and maintain and track attendance documentation.
  • Collaborate with other administrative team members to plan and facilitate routine safety drills and maintain and track related documentation.
  • Oversee and manage RC Mentorship Program in collaboration with Unit Supervisors and Program Manager and use the T.R.A.I.N.E.R philosophy.
  • Oversee and implement ASP training and support for new ASP participants.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience including 3 or more years of residential experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience including demonstrated success with training and development.
  • Previous experience working with children/adolescents in a residential treatment setting preferred.
  • Must be 21 year of age or older.

Expected salary: $50000 – 55000 per year
