Duties: As a Production Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our client’s manufacturing and distribution processes. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets and forecasts for production, inventory, and distribution activities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Cost Management: Monitoring production costs, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
- Inventory Control: Overseeing inventory management processes, including stock valuation, reconciliation, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with production, inventory, and distribution operations.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls related to manufacturing and distribution activities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving production and inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and sales, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve business objectives.
- Management Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports and insights to senior management, providing valuable insights into business performance and trends.
