Job description: ob Description: Product Owner – Cybersecurity Software ProductsPosition OverviewWe are looking for a technically skilled and experienced Product Owner to lead the development of innovative cybersecurity software products.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product management in Agile environments for cybersecurity domains, and a strong technical acumen to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.This role is essential in defining product vision, prioritizing features, managing the full backlog and ensuring the delivery of secure and high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities * Product Vision and Strategy:

• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to all the stakeholders, including cybersecurity and technical teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to inform product direction.
• Backlog Management:

• Gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders, including customers, security experts, and internal teams.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
• Write clear and actionable detailed user stories with acceptance criteria that address cybersecurity-specific requirements, with focus on the business and product features to be developed.
• Collaboration and Leadership:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and QA validation teams.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with scrum masters, agile teams and technical leadership to facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Cybersecurity Focus:

• Ensure that cybersecurity principles, such as secure coding practices and compliance with standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001), are integrated into the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement robust defenses in the product design.
• Managing all the priorities related to security finding but multiple security teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement:

• Communicate product progress, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders and product management leadership through regular updates and presentations.
• Gather feedback from customers, end-users, and industry experts to refine and improve the product.
• Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive improvements.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize the product development process for efficiency and quality.
• Product Design

• Lead all the initiatives related to product design, including definition of user interfaces and user experience.
• Ensure that the development is following the product designs approved by product management, leadership, and customers as needed.

• Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)
• Salary: AED 20,000 or more
• Nationality: Any ( prefer mixed nationality profile)
• Job Location: Abu Dhabi
• Availability – Immediate

Qualifications and Skills * Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, with a focus on cybersecurity software products in agile environments.
• Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, technical stacks and secure software development practices.
• Strong technical skills and technical expertise to ensure that priorities defined are in alignment with the defined goals and objectives from development teams can be achieved.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Github, Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with software development processes, web interfaces, APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication in English (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage concurrent product needs and different competing priorities and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are advantageous.

Expected salary: 20000 per month
