In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality agricultural products essential for maintaining the palace grounds. Your expertise in farming and procurement will play a vital role in ensuring that the Royal Palace showcases the finest flora and produce.The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of farming practices, sustainable agriculture, and a passion for delivering excellence in procurement.Responsibilities
- Source and procure a wide range of agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables, and specialty crops
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and distributors
- Ensure the quality and freshness of procured goods, adhering to the highest standards
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost-effective procurement
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to optimize procurement processes
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement, specifically within the agricultural or farming sector
- In-depth understanding of farming practices, crops, and seasonal availability
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and farmers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office Suite
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, as needed
- Passion for sustainability and quality in food sourcing
- Ability to purchase agricultural products internationally
Benefits:The salary is from AED 6,000 – 7,000 plus free accommodation, free food, free toiletries plus all other benefits as per UAE labor laws.
Expected salary: 6000 – 7000 per month
