Job description: Job Role : – Procurement OfficerJob Location : – Hamriyah Freezon, SharjahKey Responsibilities:Ø Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality materials and services.Ø Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.Ø -Purchase Orders: Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Ø Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained without overstocking.Ø Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.Ø Cost Control: Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Ø Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, supplier market conditions, and material availability.Ø Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.Ø Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.Qualifications:Ø Education: Minimum Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Bachelor’s degreeØ Experience: Minimum of 02 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industryØ Preference to Arabic NationalsIf you meet the requirements or knows someone who fits for the job role, please send CV confidentialJob Type: Full-timePay: From AED5,000.00 per month
