As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement functions including vendor selection, cost control, quality assurance, and contract negotiation. Your efforts will support the operational efficiency and service excellence of the hotel, ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services at optimal value.Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hotel procurement activities from sourcing to delivery
- Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Monitor inventory and ensure supply continuity for all departments
- Review and optimize procurement policies to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align spending with budget goals
- Analyze market trends and vendor performance for cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure all purchases meet Marriott International’s quality and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, deliveries, and supplier performance
Governance & Standards
- Adhere to Marriott’s procurement policies and UAE regulatory requirements
- Ensure ethical and transparent supplier relationships
- Participate in internal audits and vendor evaluations to maintain compliance
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline
- 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of hospitality procurement systems and processes
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
