You’ll play a key role in supporting departments by securing quality supplies at competitive prices and contributing to sustainability and cost-saving efforts.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Authorize and process purchase requisitions and orders
- Liaise with vendors to obtain competitive quotations
- Maintain current market knowledge and supplier databases
- Oversee food and beverage purchasing decisions and tastings
- Participate in tender preparation and procurement analysis
- Identify new suppliers at industry exhibitions and seminars
- Recommend green procurement solutions and recycling participation
- Submit monthly cost-saving and procurement reports
Governance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with Marriott procurement policies and procedures
- Support accurate procurement documentation and tender practices
- Promote ethical sourcing, supplier diversity, and fair trade
Job Requirements
- High school diploma with 2 years in procurement, or
- 2-year degree in Business, Hotel Management, or related field with 1 year experience
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and reporting
- Strong communication and coordination skills
