Gender: AnyWhat Does a Procurement Engineer – Civil Materials Specialist Do?– Coordinate with project teams to define material requirements for ongoing construction activities
– Oversee the timely procurement of civil materials aligned with technical specifications and purchase orders
– Inspect materials upon delivery, verifying grades, certifications, and compliance with quality standards
– Document discrepancies and escalate non-compliance or substandard supplies
– Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to company quality expectations
– Maintain updated knowledge of relevant industry codes, HSE regulations, and material compliance standards
– Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve material issues and recommend suitable alternatives
– Support vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance on quality metrics
