The Private Brand Manager – FMCG will lead the development, positioning, and commercial success of private label products within designated categories. You will collaborate closely with sourcing, sales, quality, and marketing teams to ensure product innovation, proper market fit, and revenue targets are met. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for a commercially driven product manager with strong planning and cross-departmental execution capabilities.Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the private label product development roadmap in line with departmental strategy
- Ensure new products meet performance metrics including sales targets and profitability goals across all territories
- Coordinate with sourcing, sales development, and quality teams to prioritize and launch new product lines
- Drive marketing plans for private label launches in collaboration with the marketing department
- Ensure full presence of private label SKUs across internal and external channels – both online and offline
- Monitor and evaluate product KPIs, adjusting strategies as needed to meet financial and operational benchmarks
- Contribute to policy development for private label operations within your assigned department
- Align internal stakeholders around category growth plans and brand strategy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in private label or product/category management within FMCG
- Demonstrated expertise in product development lifecycle and cross-functional coordination
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- High level of commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales and margin targets
- Familiarity with omni-channel retail environments (online and offline)
