About This Opportunity

The Principal Advisor, Talent Acquisition is responsible for delivering an exceptional end-to-end recruitment service, including in-house executive searches, for senior positions across the university. Alongside your search duties, you will also be tasked with facilitating senior recruitment activities for a dedicated portfolio, providing support, consultancy, and advice to Hiring Managers on recruitment solutions, policies and procedures as required.

As you will genuinely have a visible impact in connecting high performing individuals with world-renowned teams, this position is ideal for individuals that thrive working in a complex but rewarding environment.

Other key responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

Building and maintaining strong working relationships and rapport with senior stakeholders across the University.

Contributing to the development of client recruitment strategies and plans aligned to current and future HR trends.

Managing the executive search process within the specific client portfolio, including talent mapping, senior candidate briefings, input and influence on longlisting with senior stakeholders and interview support.

Identifying opportunities to drive talent acquisition projects and supporting the implementation of key recruitment initiatives.

About You

Strong experience in talent acquisition, with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of contemporary recruitment and selection practices and technologies.

Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills that have seen you both provide professional advice to stakeholders and develop ongoing relationships as a trusted advisor.

Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of drive, initiative, outcome orientation and the capacity to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.

Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply and advise on a wide range of policies and procedures.

Problem solving skills in the provision of solution based recruitment, selection and talent management outcomes.
