Pool Service Technician Position Opening: Looking for experienced applicants – ASP, the largest swimming pool franchising company is currently hiring. This position will provide pool service, repair and renovation/construction to customer accounts. This is a great opportunity to become part of a team, and to work within the swimming pool business.Responsibilities:· Duties will be to repair and renovate/build swimming pools and all pool equipment. This will include pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, blowers, lights, chlorinators, and plumbing. As well as renovating pools and pool decks (liners, pavers, demolition). In addition, your duties will include a small amount of cleaning pools during training if no pool experience.Education: High School Degree PreferredQualifications: 1 year of pool service experience(verifiable field experience) or will train candidates with background in electrical/plumbing/HVAC trades(min 2 years)Technical Skills:· Knowledge and experience with Pentair, Intermatic and other automation systems· Knowledge and experience with electrical 120-240V, changing motors/capacitors· Knowledge and experience with schedule 40 plumbing.· Knowledge and experience with filters both cartridge and sand(able to change 1000lbs per month).· Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds perhaps multiple times a day.Other:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driving record will need to be acceptable to our insurance company, which generally requires less than 6 points within the past 5 years with no major offenses (DUI, reckless/negligent driving, hit & run, etc.)
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Reasonable proximity to workplace. Pay DOE.
Expected salary: $36000 – 60000 per year
