Job Description:Objectives: Makes a significant contribution to all activities of the organizational unit or interdisciplinary area and plays a significant role within his/her profession or discipline.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and clinics according to the study plans in specific curriculum
- Supervise student laboratory and clinical work
- Evaluate and grade student class work, laboratory and clinic work, assignments, and papers
- Keep abreast of developments in the field by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, course materials, and methods of instruction
- Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics related to field of study
- Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and hand-outs
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions
- Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work
- Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues
- The conduct and supervision of tutorials, practical/clinical sessions, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions
- Significant contribution to the profession, community
- Consultation with students
- Attendance at departmental and faculty meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Program
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
- Master Degree in Physiotherapy
- PhD in Physiotherapy a must
- Registration in your Home Country Professional Registering Body is a must
- Qualifications in field of specialty required
- Excellent English Skills and could pass an Academic IELTS with a Band of 7
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at an accredited College or University in Faculty of Physiotherapy as an Assistant Professor
- Must have minimum 3 years practical Physiotherapy experience in the speciality fields required
- Demonstrated success working within a high performing Educational Institution
- Publications in reputable Medical Journals
Monthly Salary Range:TAX FREE Monthly Salary Range between AED 13,600 and 15,404 depending on Qualifications, Teaching experience, PublicationsHousing:First 29 days employee stays in a hotel suite. Housing Allowance provided as follows for employee to find accommodation (Help will be given):
- 8,320 to 13,000 AED monthly depending on marital status, location and position
Health Insurance Coverage:Coverage is for UAE only with emergency worldwide.Annual Air Tickets:Cash Allowance for Annual Return Airfare for employee, spouse and up to 3 dependents, depending on location of home country.Plus AED 20,000 Cash Relocation Allowance given at beginning of contract. Half upon arrival and half after probation periodLeave:Minimum 30 working days yearly, plus national holidays and term breaksDependant School Fees:Tuition fees for up to 3 dependents as follows: 80,000 AED per family is payable (max of 40,000 AED per child) to cover fees, books, exams, registration, uniform, transport.Eligible dependents must study in the UAE and are 5 years old or will attend KG1 at the beginning of the academic year.
