Job description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment Settlements Officer to join our team. As a Payment Settlements Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely settlement of payments for our organization. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of financial transactions, and the ability to work well under pressure.Responsibilities

- Process and reconcile daily payment settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct investigations into any discrepancies or errors in payment settlements and work to resolve them promptly
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Finance and Operations, to ensure smooth and efficient payment settlement processes
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant regulations and policies related to payment settlements
- Monitor and analyze payment data to identify trends or potential issues, and make recommendations for process improvements
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates on payment settlements to management and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external payment partners and vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in payment settlements or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively within a team environment
Expected salary: 5700 – 6200 per month
