Job Summary

As the Patient Access Supervisor, you will oversee the efficient operation of the mail services department within our contact center. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of mail services representatives and ensure the timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence. You will also be responsible for patient financial follow up activities as well as other patient related correspondence as necessary. You will collaborate with other departments to streamline mail workflows and uphold quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for training staff, implementing procedures to improve efficiency, and resolving escalated mail-related issues as well as bad debt and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of mail services representatives, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Mail Processing: Oversee the sorting, distribution, and dispatching of incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Patient Financial Related Follow Up: Reminder calls for payment plans, Bankruptcy processing and other patient financial correspondence work.

Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency in mail handling processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to coordinate mail-related activities and optimize workflows.

Training and Development: Train new hires and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline mail services processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any escalated mail-related issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of mail services operations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Expected salary: $43680 – 71323 per year
