HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Access Specialist to fill an opening with a Specialty Pharmaceutical Service in Orland, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Specialist:
- Help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need
- Support the healthcare providers in addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues
- Shift: any 8-hr shift, Monday to Friday between 8am to 8pm/ Work Location: Onsite in Orlando, FL
Required Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of healthcare experience dealing with patient, providers and/or health plan providers
- Benefit investigation and prior authorization experience
Preferred Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
- Experience with buy & bill insurance process
- Call center or high call volume experience
