Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs/wkAbout the Role:
Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is looking for a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to support training, quality assurance, and data analysis within the Patient Access Department. This role assists in monitoring performance, delivering training, updating content, and identifying skill gaps to enhance service quality. The specialist collaborates with leadership to improve patient access processes, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency while providing ongoing support for staff development and performance improvement.Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, updating, and delivering training programs for new hires and existing staff to enhance scheduling and patient access efficiency.
- Track trainee progress, conduct skill gap analysis, and provide coaching to improve service standards.
- Co-lead onboarding, soft skills, technical systems, and compliance training in collaboration with the Lead Trainer.
- Ensure accurate documentation of attendance, participation, and training completion for performance tracking.
- Assist in creating and updating training materials to align with company policies, industry standards, and operational goals.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in a related field preferred. Prior experience in training, patient access, scheduling, or a contact center environment is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with scheduling systems, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in facilitating training sessions, mentoring staff, and identifying skill gaps for improvement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track training progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with policies.
