Job description: We’re seeking an experienced Healthcare Supervisor to lead our Patient Access Department across our locations in Geneva and Penn Yan, NY. This leadership role offers the unique opportunity to drive operational excellence in patient registration, medical billing, and departmental management within a growing healthcare organization.Core Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership and supervision to Patient Access staff across multiple locations
- Manage department scheduling and staffing optimization
- Oversee Meditech training programs for ADM users
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements
- Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards
- Process payroll and manage departmental budgets
- Conduct performance evaluations and staff development
- Implement process improvements and maintain departmental policies
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year medical office experience
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD10 coding
- Proven leadership and staff management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience in healthcare setting
- Experience with Meditech systems
- Bilingual capabilities
- Knowledge of JCAHO standards
- Background in patient registration or access services
